Sage Events’ Sales Terms & Conditions

Definitions and law
 
The contract is the document or documents that set out these conditions and all other details about your agreement with us.
"We" and "Us" "Owner" and "Our" mean Sage Events, the seller/supplier of the goods. "You" or "Your" or "Hirer" means the buyer of the goods
The "Goods" mean all goods to be sold by us and bought by you. The "Recipient" means the person, firm, company, corporation or public authority to whom the goods are delivered, when it is not you. These conditions exclude any terms and conditions you may have put forward, except where we have agreed to any amendments or other conditions in writing.
 
Contract
 
These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Sage Events of 116 Tilney Road, Dagenham, Essex RM9 HP to the buyer. Our acceptance of your order by delivery of goods constitutes a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail. This will occur either by message on the website immediately after you have confirmed your order, or by us sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided to us. We may do both, in which case the acceptance will occur on whichever arrives sooner of the web message and the e-mail.
At this point the purchase contract will be made and we will supply the goods to you in accordance with your order and these Terms and Conditions.
All products are subject to availability, if your order cannot be fulfilled you will be contacted.
 
Prices & Payment
 
All orders must be paid for in full by Credit or Debit card. 
The price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our web site at the time you place your order. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it . If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order and any applicable charges for carriage and insurance before your order can be dispatched unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.
Prices and delivery charges are subject to change without notice. All prices are shown in pounds sterling inclusive of UK VAT at 17.5%.
 
This is free of charge.
 
Please make sure that there is someone over the age of 18 to sign for the goods. There will be 2 attempts to deliver after which, the items will be returned to us. In the event that this happens, you will be liable for all return costs.
As soon as the goods are delivered to you, they become your responsibility. We will deliver only to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery, any loss or damage to the goods will be your responsibility and at your risk. Any transit damage, shortages or wrong goods supplied, must be noted on the delivery/consignment note at the time of delivery.
We operate a recycle policy. Wherever possible all our packaging will be recycled.
Damaged, or faulty goods, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery date. In cases of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the product (together with any packaging) and contact us within 48 hours of receipt (commencing the day after delivery), whereupon we will arrange for the item to be exchanged or offer a full refund.  This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Availability
 
We try to make sure we only show items on the site if we currently have them in stock or are expecting fresh stocks shortly. If you place an order for something, which isn’t available, we will contact you by phone or email as soon as possible after you place your order. All orders are subject to availability.
 
Returns Policy
 
Goods may be returned within seven days of receipt. These goods must be in perfect resalable condition, unopened in their original packaging. Customers must ensure the goods are securely packed and are responsible for paying the relevant return carriage costs. A deduction of 10% will be made to cover our administration costs, and the net refund will be returned to the card the payment was received. This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
Security and Privacy
 
Shopping on our site is safe. We do hold no payment details on file. Once we have processed your order, we erase your card information so that it is not available for inspection by others.
Please be assured that we will not take any payment until we've made sure that all the goods on your shopping list have been processed.
We use the latest in Secure Server Technology to ensure that all personal and transactional information is protected to the highest standards. All information collected on our order form for internal use only, including customer and recipient personal details. This information is necessary to ensure the smooth processing of your order and allows us to contact you if any problems occur. We never make your personal details available to companies outside the company for any purposes. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Liability
 
We will always try our utmost best to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or without error, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website
We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and We accept no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
 
General
 
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
If any of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining Terms and Conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of this website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only for your personal use in placing orders through the Sage Events’ website and you may not copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute which may arise between them.
